For my final project I
decided to help my husband keep better track of his invoices and customer
information for his small business, Red Techs of Utah. His business primarily
provides networking and IT skills for small to mediums sized businesses. The system
I built provides him with help for creating customized and branded invoices for
his customers that takes into consideration different tax rates based on the
service type since most web based services do not allow this functionality. It
also acts as a CRM database because of the custom form that can be edited and
pulls the correct contact information when the invoice is printed. This version
of the project sends the un-printed invoices to print preview format when called
for demonstration, but in operation prints directly to the printer or as PDF’s.
